Role Overview
Senior on-site rigger leading rigging crews on most jobs for the Rigging and Staging department.
The role reports to the Rigging HOD and serves as crew chief on assigned jobs without direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead rigging builds on assigned jobs.
- Review drawings and load calculations against on-site conditions.
- Supervise stagehands and freelance riggers.
- Conduct pre-show safety inspections and sign off loads.
- Perform hands-on rigging, including bridle calculations, motor positioning, and hoist control.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 6 years of professional rigging experience.
- Recognized rigging certification such as ETCP, NRC, IRATA, or an equivalent certification.
- Hoist control or chain motor experience.
- Strong communication skills under pressure.
Workplace
- The role is based in Al Khatim, Abu Dhabi, and is heavily on-site.
- Work location is in person.
