About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of assigned project packages, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality targets
- Supervise and manage contractors to ensure works are executed as per specifications, drawings, and project milestones
- Direct, coordinate, and monitor the supervision team in conducting daily inspections of construction activities
- Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements and promote a safety first culture across all site operations
- Resolve site related issues promptly, providing sound engineering judgment and ensuring proper documentation
- Represent AECOM in all Client, Contractor, and Authority meetings, maintaining professional communication and reporting standards
- Review and endorse contractors’ technical submittals, method statements, material approvals, and construction drawings
- Oversee and monitor progress reporting, schedule updates, and cost control to ensure alignment with project goals
- Negotiate and manage scope variations, claims, and change requests in coordination with the Client and Contractor
- Prepare and implement the Project Execution Plan, HSE Plan, and Quality Control Plan for the assigned package
- Review and assess construction programs, technical deliverables, and cost estimates for accuracy and completeness
- Mentor and supervise subordinate engineers and inspectors, conducting performance reviews and ensuring skill development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university
- 20 years of experience in a senior level position
- Ability to liaise with DM and service authorities
- Full knowledge of methods of excavation and backfilling as per RTA standards
- Safety requirements as per DM and RTA standards
- Asphalt Tiles reinstatement as per RTA standards
- NDRC methods
- Valid UAE Driving License
- Full knowledge of existing sewerage networks in the Emirates of Dubai
- Familiar with DM general conditions of contract, quality assurance, quantity surveying, and project network techniques (Primavera P3)
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera P3
