- Lead and supervise the on site engineering team, ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to timelines
- Conduct regular inspections of workmanship and materials to maintain quality standards
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and change orders
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
- Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Implement and oversee sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes
- Utilize BIM technology to improve project visualization and coordination
- Mentor and develop junior engineers
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 20 years of experience in building engineering
- Proven track record in overseeing complex building projects in the Middle East
- In depth knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Willingness to work on site and travel as required
