Job Summary
Senior Quality Test Engineer I role focused on the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications.
The role requires technical expertise, analytical thinking, and collaboration with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop automated test frameworks and suites for web, API, and backend applications.
- Track software defects through resolution and perform root cause analysis.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate on quality acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD deployment workflows.
- Validate application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Review requirements and technical specifications for testability.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to quality engineering improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software testing and quality assurance experience.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent automation frameworks.
