Manage media and course development projects from planning through product launch.
Build effective relationships with stakeholders and collaborate across teams to exceed customer expectations.
Improve production processes and procedures through continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the technical and financial feasibility of interactive and online products with editors, authors, and developers.
- Prepare estimates, proofs of concept, information architectures, timelines, and functional specifications.
- Provide technical guidance on media asset development and lead multimedia production transmittal meetings.
- Track budgets, scope, timelines, cost structures, and application functionality.
- Manage developer bids and contracts and deliver approximately 100–150 projects annually on time and on budget.
- Report project status and resolve escalated issues with senior production and team management.
- Coordinate testing, revisions, feedback, product design plans, development plans, and publication communications.
- Track industry developments and improve software reusability and platform independence.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and address team pain points.
Requirements
- Any degree.
- Knowledge of multimedia and eLearning concepts and product development.
- Strong cross-platform interactive product development experience.
- Experience with project management, Microsoft Office, audio/video/animation production, web technologies, multimedia authoring, HTML, XML, and web development.
- 3–5 years of project management and multimedia development experience.
