- Build, develop, establish, and maintain safety program policies, processes, and procedures
- Work directly with aviation operating entities to ensure inspections, process control analyses, and internal audits are conducted IAW the Business System Manual (BSM)
- Generate results based quantitative assessment of contract and safety performance for use by external stakeholders
- Implement and maintain an AS9110 compliant Aviation Safety Management System (SMS)
- Oversee the Risk Management Program, AS9100, AS9120, ISO 21001 (as applicable), and AS9110 standards
- Provide expertise and guidance on interpreting policies, governmental regulations, and agency procedures
- Supervise and mentor a team of subordinate safety experts
Requirements
- Experience in building, developing, establishing, and maintaining safety program policies, processes, and procedures
- Experience working directly with aviation operating entities to ensure inspections, process control analyses, and internal audits are conducted IAW the Business System Manual (BSM)
- Ability to generate results based quantitative assessment of contract and safety performance
- Experience implementing and maintaining an AS9110 compliant Aviation Safety Management System (SMS)
- Oversight of Risk Management Program, AS9100, AS9120, ISO 21001, and AS9110 standards
- Expertise in interpreting policies, governmental regulations, and agency procedures
- Supervisory and mentoring experience for a team of subordinate safety experts
