- Perform duties as a Flight Instructor for non rated crewmembers in the CH 47 Aircraft and supporting simulation devices
- Provide flight instruction on all flight tasks in accordance with RSLFAC Aircrew Training Manual, Program of Instruction, and Flight Training Guide
- Conduct academic instruction in support of flight training on all applicable topics
- Conduct preflight briefing, post flight debriefing, and after action reviews
- Maintain flight training records in accordance with RSLFAC regulations and local guidance
- Provide instruction and support for the RSLFAC Gunnery program in the CH 47F
- Train and evaluate Aviation CE, FI, and SIs in the CH 47F Aircraft
- Develop a non rated crewmember Training Program in accordance with customer guidance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have been qualified as a nonrated crewmember instructor (FI) or standardization instructor (SI)
- Graduate of instruction from an authorized DOD Proponent School for MOS qualification related to the aircraft
- Minimum of 150 total hours experience
- Prefer 50 hours as a FI or SI
- Able to pass a FI/SI evaluation upon hire and annually
- Successfully pass FAA Class II Flight Physical or US Army Flight Physical upon hire and annually
- Clean criminal record
- Pass drug test

Job Summary
- Responsible for performing duties as a Flight Instructor for non rated crewmembers in the CH 47 Aircraft and supporting simulation device(s).
- Provide flight instruction to non rated crewmembers on all flight tasks in accordance with the RSLFAC Aircrew Training Manual (ATM), Program of Instruction (POI), and Flight Training Guide (FTG).
- Conduct academic instruction in support of flight training on all applicable topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and evaluate Aviation CE, FI, and SIs in the CH 47F Aircraft in accordance with the RSLFAC ATM and specific unit ATP guidelines.
- Develop a non rated crewmember Training Program in accordance with customer guidance.
- Verify and confirm that all required flight training publications are current and complete.
- Liaison with top management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity.
- Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long term operational excellence.
- Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions.
- Support unit level staff of RSFLAC.
- Supervise and coach subordinate managers routinely.
- Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
- Act as a focal point for conflict resolution between employees and internal/external departments.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have been qualified as a nonrated crewmember instructor (FI) or nonrated crewmember standardization instructor (SI).
- Graduate of instruction from an authorized DOD Proponent School for MOS qualification related to the Mission, Type and Design or completed an equivalency evaluation for the aircraft required.
- Minimum of 150 total hours experience.
- Prefer 50 hours as a FI or SI and have previously qualified and served in such capacity during military service required.
- Able to pass a FI/SI evaluation as appropriate by a Standardization Instructor upon hire and annually thereafter.
- Successfully pass the FAA Class II Flight Physical or a US Army Flight Physical upon hire, and annually thereafter required.
Additional Requirements
- Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.
- Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions.
- Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment.
- Compliance with Saudi Labor Law: All employment terms and conditions will be in accordance with Saudi Labor Law.
