Responsibilities
- Perform Maintenance Test Flights (MTF) and Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC)
- Conduct in flight troubleshooting and verification of aircraft to ensure airworthiness
- Perform general or limited test flights when ground diagnostic tests cannot determine safe functioning
- Conduct aircraft general and pre flight readiness inspections
- Start, run up, fly, navigate and safely land aircraft IAW applicable operators manual
- Complete all required aircraft maintenance forms, records, and logbook entries
- Perform mathematical calculations, performance data, and landing configurations
- Conduct briefings to flight crew and maintenance personnel
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent training and experience
- 2 years' experience as a Maintenance Test Pilot in AH64 series, meets requirements of AR 95 20
- Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft Helicopter; Instrument Helicopter license
- Graduate of a US Military maintenance test pilot course on AH64
- Must pass Army or FAA Class II Flight Physical upon hire and annually
- Clean criminal record for Saudi Work Visa
- Must pass drug test

Position Description
- Functions as the Aviation Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) under the direction of the Production Control (PC) Manager.
- Responsible for performing Maintenance Test Flights (MTF), and Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC), conducting in flight troubleshooting and verifications of aircraft to ensure airworthiness upon completion of extensive disassembly for maintenance, repair, replacement or modification of components
- Flights typically include determining availability of required aircraft power, assessing power plant health and performance, and verifying functioning of aircraft components and systems in accordance with applicable technical publications.
- The MTP shall perform general or limited test flights when ground diagnostic tests cannot determine safe and/or proper functioning.
- The MTP shall conduct aircraft general and pre flight readiness inspections.
- The MTP shall successfully start, run up, fly, navigate and safely land aircraft IAW applicable aircraft operators manual.
- The MTP shall correctly complete all required aircraft maintenance forms, records, and aircraft logbooks entries.
- The MTP shall perform mathematical calculations, performance data, and landing configurations of the type series.
- The MTP shall conduct briefings to flight crew members and maintenance personnel in support of MTP aircraft operations.
- Ensures that all related operations are conducted in a safe manner.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent training and experience required.
- 2 years' experience as a Maintenance Test pilot in AH64 series, meets requirements of AR 95 20 required.
- Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft Helicopter; Instrument Helicopter license.
- Graduate of a US Military maintenance test pilot course on AH64.
- Successfully pass the Army or FAA Class II Flight Physical upon hire, and annually thereafter.
- Proficient in MS Office software.
Additional Requirements
- Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.
- Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our RSLFAC program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
