Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex construction and project management initiatives in Abu Dhabi.
- Plan, organize, and execute construction and project management initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements specific to the UAE market.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans; monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining accountability.
- Manage stakeholder communications, including clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans.
- Oversee quality assurance and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to construction standards, safety protocols, and local regulations.
- Manage project budgets and financial controls; track expenditures, forecast costs, and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, performance metrics, and lessons learned documentation.
Qualifications
- 12 years of professional experience in project management, with a minimum of 5 years in construction or project and construction management (PMCM).
- Proven track record of successfully managing large scale construction projects with budgets exceeding $5 million.
- Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Advanced proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools.
- Demonstrated experience with construction management platforms and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and best practices in the UAE and Gulf region.
- Proficiency in risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with PMCM methodologies and frameworks.
