About the Role
AECOM seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale interior fit-out projects in Doha, Qatar. You will oversee all project phases, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure delivery aligns with client objectives and quality standards.

- Lead delivery of multiple complex fit out projects and programs, ensuring alignment with client strategic objectives
- Oversee all stages of project development including feasibility, design coordination, procurement, delivery, and handover
- Serve as primary client facing leader, fostering long term relationships and driving client satisfaction
- Develop and implement project governance frameworks for cost, schedule, risk, and quality
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external teams
- Make informed, proactive decisions with minimal supervision and escalate strategic matters appropriately
- Ensure project works adhere to budgets, timelines, health and safety, local regulations, and client expectations
- Manage and maintain accurate project documentation in digital and physical formats
- Provide coaching and professional development to junior project managers and support staff
- Analyze project performance metrics and implement process improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience in fit out or construction project management leading complex, high value projects
- Professional experience from consultancy or client side organization
- Strong expertise in pre and post contract project management across full RIBA lifecycle
- Ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders at senior levels
- Knowledge and practical experience with JCT and/or NEC contract administration
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in managing project documentation in digital and physical formats
- Knowledge of Middle Eastern construction standards and regulations
- Professional qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying (Master's degree highly desirable)
- Chartered professional status with RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, or similar
- Certification or experience in Prince2, MSP, or similar methodologies
- Experience delivering projects in international or multicultural environments, particularly Middle East

- Background in commercial fit out delivery with knowledge of interior design coordination.
- Experience in risk management, quality assurance, and sustainability integration.
