Role Overview
International consultancy seeking a Senior Project Manager for a portfolio of high-profile global hospitality projects.
The role is based from the employer's Dubai office and involves hands-on delivery ownership with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead hospitality projects from initial concept through completion and handover.
- Own project programmes and ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Develop, monitor, and manage programmes using Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Manage project risks, issues, changes, and critical path activities.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and delivery strategies for complex projects.
- Manage projects in remote locations and island developments.
- Ensure delivery meets programme, quality, and commercial objectives.
- Administer projects under FIDIC contracts.
- Report clearly to senior management and clients.
- Identify potential issues and implement practical solutions.
- Remain involved in day-to-day project delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience, ideally 10–15 years.
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering hotel or hospitality projects from start to finish.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
- Strong experience working with FIDIC contracts.
- Experience managing procurement and logistics on complex projects.
- Experience in remote, challenging, or island locations is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of the full project lifecycle through commissioning and handover.
