The Role
An international architecture studio with a strong presence in Dubai is seeking a Design Architect for a design-led practice.
The role focuses on early-stage design, generating bold ideas, and translating them into compelling architectural concepts.
The architect will work with senior designers and project teams to shape project vision from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support concept-design development from the initial brief through schematic design.
- Create innovative and original design solutions aligned with client aspirations and project context.
- Produce high-quality sketches, 3D models, and presentation materials.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and refine design ideas.
- Contribute to client presentations and design workshops.
Candidate Profile
- A degree in Architecture is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
- At least five years of experience in a design-focused architectural role is required.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating concept-design excellence and creative thinking is required.
- Proficiency in Rhino is essential.
- Experience with design-visualisation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Grasshopper, and Lumion is required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively is required.
Desirable Experience
- Prior experience working on projects in the Middle East is desirable.
- Exposure to parametric design methodologies is desirable.
- Understanding of sustainable design principles is desirable.
