Job Purpose
Manage governance and project financial reporting for bank-wide technology projects.
Work closely with Technology leadership and the Transformation Office.
Review technology project business cases, manage budgets, report financials, and mitigate financial risks.
Key Result Areas
- Drive financial reporting for bank-wide technology projects in alignment with the Transformation Office.
- Evaluate executive summaries and CapEx proposals and ensure required elements are captured.
- Store project documentation and approvals in the central project repository.
- Create projects in Oracle, assign approved budgets, and monitor them.
- Provide timely project financial reports and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Coordinate project capitalization and fixed asset recording with project managers and relevant teams.
- Alert management to cost overruns and budget underutilization.
- Validate chargeability, item codes, and general ledger entries in Oracle and procurement.
- Close projects in the system and coordinate closure of unused purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations at every project stage.
- Drive annual CapEx planning with Technology, business leads, and the Transformation Office.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Master's degree in Finance or Accounting, or CA or MBA in Finance.
- At least 5-8 years of banking experience managing financials and reporting for multiple technology projects.
- Knowledge of project and program management and technology projects.
- Strong financial data analysis skills and proficiency with project or financial software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and ability to work as part of a team.
