Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all MEP construction activities from mobilization through project completion
- Review design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for compliance
- Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and infrastructure teams
- Monitor construction progress against approved schedules and implement corrective actions
- Manage and supervise MEP subcontractors
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and quality
- Ensure compliance with Dubai authority regulations and testing procedures
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
- Review RFIs, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Identify technical and commercial risks and work proactively to resolve issues
- Ensure adherence to QA/QC and HSE requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 8–12 years of MEP construction experience
- At least 5 years managing large scale residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed use developments in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, ELV, and building services systems
- Thorough understanding of Dubai authority requirements and testing procedures
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, and project management software

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all MEP construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
- Review design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and identify potential construction issues.
- Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth project execution and eliminate interface conflicts.
- Monitor construction progress against approved schedules and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays.
- Review subcontractor work programs, manpower deployment, and resource planning to ensure timely project delivery.
- Manage and supervise MEP subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship, installation quality, and compliance with approved methods and safety requirements.
- Ensure all MEP works comply with applicable Dubai authority regulations, approval requirements, inspections, and testing procedures.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities with consultants, authorities, and clients.
- Review RFIs, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation to support project execution.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, highlighting project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Identify technical and commercial risks and work proactively with project stakeholders to resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8–12 years of MEP construction experience, with at least 5 years managing large scale residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed use developments in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, ELV, and building services systems.
- Thorough understanding of Dubai authority requirements, testing and commissioning procedures, and statutory approvals.
- Experience managing MEP subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, and project management software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
