About the Role
Siemens seeks a Senior Project Engineer to independently handle modification, extension, maintenance, and spare parts orders for MV and LV Switchgears. The role requires sound technical knowledge of Siemens MV and LV Switchgears, project management skills, and 10+ years of experience in similar projects.

Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager in managing Switchgear projects within time, budget and quality requirements
- Take over project from Sales team, make clarifications and perform overall project planning
- Release Purchase Orders and Subcontracts and follow up with vendors
- Analyze and monitor project plan fulfilment regarding technical and commercial aspects
- Prepare Project Progress Measurement sheets and conduct weekly review meetings
- Assess and document project status and perform internal and external reporting
- Carry out risk assessment and prepare mitigation action plan
- Identify early deviations and changes, send change notifications, and assist in preparing Change orders and Time extension Claims
- Develop stakeholder management plan and engage all parties
- Manage project completion/close out and acceptance of delivery units
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of Site Testing and Commissioning experience on Siemens MV Switchgears and protection systems
- Expert knowledge of Medium and Low voltage Switchgears and protection systems
- Experience in turn key projects with direct interface to customer/public authorities/subcontractor
- PMP or IPMA certification is a plus

- Assisting Project Manager in managing Switchgear projects within the time, budget and quality requirements.
- Must have sound technical knowledge of Siemens make Medium Voltage Switchgears (both AIS & GIS) and their Protection Systems.
- Project Planning: Taking over project from Sales team, make clarifications and perform overall project planning.
- Procurement and Subcontracting: Release Purchase Orders and Subcontracts after taking inputs from Engineering and Procurement teams.
- Project Monitoring and Controlling: Analyze and continuously monitor project plan fulfilment.
- Project Reporting: Assess and document project status and perform project internal and external reporting.
- Risk Management: Carry out risks assessment of the project and prepare mitigation action plan.
- Contracts & Claim Management: Assist Project and Procurement Manager in Identifying early deviations and changes.
- Stakeholder Management & Customer relations: Assist Project Manager in developing stakeholder management plan.
- Project Closeout: Manage the Project completion/ close out and acceptance of delivery units.
Your success is grounded in
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of Site Testing and Commissioning experience on Siemens make MV Switchgears and protection system.
- Expert knowledge of Medium and Low voltage Switchgears and protection systems
- PMP or IPMA certification is a plus
