About the Role
Siemens seeks a Business Developer Manager to build strategic relationships with consulting engineers and design firms in Quebec. You will promote Siemens' building automation, fire, security, and energy management solutions, influencing project specifications.

- Develop and execute a national and regional consultant engagement strategy
- Provide technical and design support to consultants in Building Automation, Fire, Security, Energy Management, IoT, and Software solutions
- Build executive and working level relationships with consulting firms as a trusted technical advisor
- Establish Siemens as the preferred technical partner during project planning and design phases
- Conduct regular visits, workshops, lunch and learns, and technical presentations with consulting firms and end users
- Develop consultant account plans and relationship maps for strategic firms
- Deliver presentations on emerging technologies, system architectures, codes, standards, and best practices
- Represent Siemens at industry events, engineering conferences, professional associations, and trade organizations
- Collaborate with consultants to ensure specifications leverage open, interoperable, and future ready solutions
- Support bid strategy and pursuit planning on key projects
- Assist in development of technical sales tools, design guides, and consultant facing collateral
- Support market development within strategic verticals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Systems, Business, or related discipline
- 5 10+ years of experience in building automation, fire and life safety systems, smart buildings, energy management, building technologies, or technical sales/business development
- Demonstrated success working with consulting engineers and design firms
- Strong understanding of construction project delivery processes and specification development
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, UL, BOMA, WiredScore, SmartScore
- Bilingualism: Fluency in French and English (verbal and written)
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation considered a strong asset

Required Qualifications
