Job Purpose
Ensure production planning for integrated supply-chain planning, ship scheduling, and storage.
Meet producer requirements and customer contractual obligations.
Job Context and Challenges
Align tank inventory, ship schedules, and delivery commitments to avoid disruption across LNG and non-LNG supply chains.
Update plans daily with all parties in a constantly changing work environment.
Operate in a complex technical and commercial environment under considerable time pressure.
Regular non-office hours may be required to maintain continuous operations.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Develop reliable loading schedules for RLTO facilities.
- Coordinate product rundowns with producers for storage and loading programs.
- Prepare short- and long-term forecasts for non-LNG production and refinery feedstock balance.
- Coordinate with port authorities and pilots on requests and berthing schedules.
- Resolve loading conflicts with RLIC producers, QatarEnergy Sales Operations, and RLIC port schedulers.
- Coordinate maintenance affecting storage and loading facilities to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor actual versus forecast producer rundown performance and coordinate corrections.
- Operate and update the RLTO Storage and Berth System (HIMS).
- Develop plans for unplanned events affecting storage and loading facilities for Production & Planning Lead review.
- Develop and update scheduling procedures consistent with agreements and current business requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Knowledge and Experience
- Six years of experience in commercial and shipping within oil and gas, including five years as a product or oil scheduler.
- Experience in planning and scheduling petroleum products.
