Preservation Supervisor

Job purpose

Accountabilities

• Coordinate and monitor preservation activities and KPIs in line with divisional objectives.
• Assess preservation needs based on material types, storage durations, and physical conditions.
• Supervise and evaluate third-party contractors and warehouse staff and ensure compliance with contract terms and scope.
• Conduct inspections, identify preservation risks, and coordinate corrective action for storage and material condition concerns.
• Review Material Master records and resolve preservation misalignments.
• Coordinate with Engineering and OEMs to resolve technical preservation issues.
• Prepare management reports covering activity plans versus actuals, variances, issues, milestones, progress, and improvement actions.
• Guide and mentor preservation personnel and contractors on task knowledge, readiness, and safe handling.
• Conduct Management of Change activities related to material preservation practices.
• Support inventory readiness by keeping preserved materials usable and compliant with end-user expectations.
• Review and improve preservation policies, procedures, and system functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied science, or logistics.
• Training or certification in material preservation techniques and standards.
• Eight years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Good knowledge of supplier relations and industry practices.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodology.
• Knowledge of material preservation and contract management.
