About the Role
Manage multifunctional teams to efficiently process and pack poultry products.
Meet internal customer order requirements within management performance parameters.
Ensure adherence to product specifications, quality and safety standards, service requirements, and cost parameters.
Ensure resources are available and used safely and efficiently.
Candidate Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Processing Technology or a related field.
- 7–9 years of experience in a poultry processing plant.
- HACCP certification.
- Knowledge of ISO 22000.
Production and Quality
- Optimise product quality and ensure products meet required specifications.
- Maximise service to internal customers by delivering the right product at the right time and specification.
- Optimise yield and wastage and maximise plant utilisation to support profitability.
Health, Safety, and Resources
- Ensure health and safety on-the-job training is conducted for staff.
- Direct, manage, and control manpower and resources to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.
- Motivate the workforce and plan staff development for future business challenges.
