Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, roadmap, and strategy for GenAI products supporting refinery workflows and downstream operations.
• Conduct on-site discovery sessions, operational assessments, and user research with refinery teams.
• Translate refinery requirements into scalable enterprise product capabilities.
• Lead GenAI delivery from proof of concept through production implementation and adoption.
• Define requirements for AI copilots, decision-support tools, and engineering knowledge assistants.
• Establish AI governance and monitoring focused on reliability, safety, and improvement.
• Define integrations with industrial systems including SAP, PI System, and LIMS.
• Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Engage senior stakeholders and manage decision papers, product updates, and demonstrations.
• Oversee backlogs, release plans, risks, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of overall experience, including 5–6 years in technical product management or related leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of downstream oil and gas processes, including refinery operations.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI or GenAI products in complex enterprise settings.
• Expertise in stakeholder management, roadmap planning, and business process mapping.
• Familiarity with enterprise data system integration and collaboration with engineering, cybersecurity, and data governance teams.
• Fluent English communication at B2 level or higher.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A valid SCE certificate in an IT-related discipline is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI copilots, knowledge assistants, or document-intelligence solutions is preferred.
• Awareness of private cloud, hybrid, or on-premise deployment models such as OpenShift or Kubernetes is preferred.
• Industrial IoT or predictive maintenance experience is preferred.
