Senior Product Manager - Catalog

Role overview

Core responsibilities

• Own catalog strategy, quarterly sequencing, roadmap decisions, and outcome accountability.
• Design product-data creation and improvement workflows for merchants and other contributors.
• Make category expansion configuration-driven rather than dependent on a separate engineering project.
• Use AI for product-data enrichment with explicit automation, confidence, review, and correction policies.
• Measure catalog quality through downstream performance rather than completeness alone.
• Own product-data performance and compliance across external selling channels.
• Lead two to three product managers and coach their product framing and craft.
• Partner with search, discovery, storefronts, vendors, marketplace, and data teams.

Catalog focus areas

• Catalog engine and category setup through reusable configuration.
• Product-data input, including creation, bulk import, and editing.
• Taxonomy, attributes, variants, identifiers, normalization, and duplicate handling.
• AI enrichment through extraction, classification, generation, or matching.
• Downstream catalog fitness for search, storefronts, recommendations, and external feeds.

Required qualifications

• Six or more years in product management, including a self-serve platform where users created content or data.
• Ownership of a measurable product-data outcome such as accuracy, time to publish, adoption, or downstream performance.
• Evidence of changing user behavior at the moment data is produced rather than correcting it only in a pipeline.
• Experience using configuration to support multiple use cases from a shared platform.
• Production AI experience with confidence thresholds, error rates, automation boundaries, and correction loops.
• Working knowledge of structured product data and external channel requirements.
• Experience coaching product managers and readiness to lead a small team.
• Full professional fluency in Arabic and English.

Preferred qualification

• Merchant context in the region is preferred over theoretical knowledge.

Work arrangement

• The role requires relocation to Saudi Arabia and on-site work.
