We are currently seeking an experienced professional for one of our clients operating in the
industrial engineering sector
, specializing in industrial refrigeration solutions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic supply chain team and contribute to the efficiency of procurement, logistics, and inventory operations.
This role combines
procurement management, logistics coordination, and supply chain support responsibilities
.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process
- purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- for goods and services in a timely manner.
- Analyze departmental and project purchasing needs and contribute to the development of
- effective procurement plans
- .
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify
- new suppliers
- based on project and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure
- complete and accurate procurement documentation
- .
- Support the sales team with
- shipping incoterms, LC terms, and supply chain conditions
- .
- Manage the full procurement cycle from
- purchase request to purchase order issuance and shipment coordination
- .
- Coordinate with
- freight forwarders and logistics agents
- , book shipments, and monitor deliveries until final receipt.
- Request shipment quotations and
- negotiate pricing and delivery timelines
- with suppliers and forwarding companies.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with the
Operations Department
- .
- Support clients with
- customs clearance and import/export documentation
- when required.
- Issue receipts and delivery orders and manage
- equipment re-export processes
- .
- Manage and control the
- warehouse/store
- , ensuring proper storage and organization of materials.
- Maintain and update the
- vendor database and item master list
- .
- Participate in
- RFQ processes
- , evaluate supplier proposals, and support supplier selection and contract awarding.
- Track procurement contracts including
- duration, renewal timelines, and supplier performance
- .
- Negotiate improved
- pricing, delivery conditions, and product quality
- with vendors.
- Prepare procurement reports and monitor
- monthly category expenditure
- .
- Coordinate closely with
- Sales, Accounts, and Supply Chain teams
- for procurement and logistics activities.
- Support ERP system implementation and ensure proper use of procurement tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in
- Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- .
- **10 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain roles**
- .
- Knowledge of suppliers and markets related to the
- industrial refrigeration or technical engineering sector
- is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of
- import/export procedures, logistics coordination, and customs documentation
- .
- Experience handling
- complex shipments by land, sea, and air
- .
- Familiarity with
- ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 preferred)
- .
- Proficiency in
- MS Office tools, particularly Excel and Word
- .
- Ability to analyze
- market data, quotations, and feasibility studies
- .
- **Fluent in French.**
- **Good command of English**
- is required for professional communication.
- **Arabic is an advantage.**
