Responsibilities
- Take ownership of procurement packages from requisition through supplier award and handover
- Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and tender documentation for materials and subcontract packages
- Evaluate supplier quotations for technical and commercial compliance
- Lead supplier negotiations to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives
- Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, commercial, and project teams
- Support supplier risk assessments, performance monitoring, and expediting activities
- Assist with contract administration, reporting, and procurement governance
- Drive value engineering initiatives and cost optimization opportunities
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and reporting metrics
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainable procurement practices
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or project based environments
- Experience managing procurement packages and supplier relationships
- Exposure to subcontract and material procurement activities
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to prepare bid evaluations, comparison matrices, and procurement reports
- Knowledge of contract administration and supplier performance management
- Experience using ERP procurement systems and sourcing platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- CIPS certification or working towards CIPS qualification (preferred)
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred)

Job Description

- ALEMCO provides integrated MEP and facilities services.
- We are looking for a Senior Procurement Engineer to manage procurement packages, drive supplier engagement, and support the successful delivery of major projects.
Your Role
- Take ownership of procurement packages from requisition through supplier award and handover.

What We're Looking For
