Responsibilities
- Ensure all contract specifications, consultant requirements, and statutory regulations are followed throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and manage material submittals ensuring compliance with project specifications and consultant requirements
- Maintain a material approval register and ensure timely submission and approvals
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments in line with project HSE and QA/QC requirements
- Manage and track procurement schedules and long lead items, ensuring timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
- Manage and coordinate engineering drawings and documentation, ensuring approved drawings are issued to site teams
- Support value engineering initiatives and prepare material take offs with Senior Engineers and Construction Managers
- Support testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems operate as per design and project requirements
- Identify and resolve technical issues on site to maintain safety, quality, and programme targets
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience within MEP contracting, construction, or mission critical projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Experience working with consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Good understanding of local and international electrical codes and standards
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, particularly mechanical and plumbing installations
- Proficiency in MS Office and Autodesk Revit

- Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure installations meet quality standards and programme milestones.
- Support testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems operate as per design and project requirements.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, particularly mechanical and plumbing installations.
- Experience managing engineering deliverables, drawings, submittals, and procurement tracking.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, and project programme coordination.
- Strong coordination skills with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Autodesk Revit.
- Experience working on data centres, mission critical facilities, hospitality, commercial, or large scale mixed use developments (desirable).
- Experience with BIM 360, ACC, or other Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms (desirable).
- Knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project (desirable).
- Familiarity with local authority requirements and approvals within the UAE (desirable).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience within MEP contracting, construction, or mission critical projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience working with consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Good understanding of local and international electrical codes and standards.
