About the Role
Bilfinger Middle East is seeking an experienced Senior RBI Engineer to join their Asset Integrity team. The role involves leading Risk-Based Inspection studies per API 580/581 for Oil & Gas clients.

Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Risk Based Inspection (RBI) studies in accordance with API 580 and API 581
- Perform API 581 Fully Quantitative RBI Assessments (FQA) for static equipment
- Conduct damage mechanism assessments in accordance with API 571
- Develop risk rankings, inspection strategies, inspection plans, and optimized inspection intervals
- Review inspection history, corrosion data, operating conditions, and process information
- Collect, validate, and verify field data through site visits and equipment inspections
- Facilitate RBI workshops, client meetings, and technical discussions
- Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and project deliverables
- Support multiple consultancy projects while ensuring quality, schedule, and client satisfaction
- Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior engineers
- Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and client representatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Asset Integrity, Inspection Engineering, or RBI consultancy within Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Energy sectors
- Proven experience conducting API 580/581 RBI studies
- Strong hands on experience with API 581 Fully Quantitative Assessment (FQA)
- Sound knowledge of API 571 Damage Mechanisms
- Experience in pressure equipment inspection, corrosion assessment, and integrity management
- Familiarity with international standards including API 510, API 570, API 653, ASME is preferred
- Experience with RBI software such as PCMS, Capstone, Visions, Meridium is an advantage
- Strong analytical, report writing, and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, workshops, and site visits

About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Engineer to join our Asset Integrity team.
- The successful candidate will support consultancy projects for leading Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, and Energy clients by delivering high quality Risk Based Inspection (RBI) studies in accordance with API 580 and API 581.
- This role requires strong technical expertise in API 581 Fully Quantitative Assessment (FQA), asset integrity management, damage mechanism assessment, and client facing consultancy experience.
