Responsibilities
- Assume sole responsibility for assigned mechanical engineering work as per project scope
- Perform conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering and design
- Prepare Mechanical Data Sheet, Equipment Specifications, Material Requisition for Inquiry and Purchase
- Conduct Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) and Tabulation
- Perform Vendor Document Review (VDR)
- Design packages as per applicable international standards like API 610, API 675, API 618, ISO 5199, ASME Sec VIII
- Attend progress review, design review, clarification meetings with Client
Requirements
- Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 15+ years in oil and gas with major contractor or consultants
- Perform conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering and design as per design basis, project specifications, clients specification and procedures, design codes and standards
- Familiar with relevant design and analysis software
- Experience in preparing Mechanical Data Sheet, Equipment Specifications, Material Requisition, TBE, VDR
- Knowledge of Packages like Vapour Recovery Unit, DM Plants, N2 Generation, Truck Loading Arms, Air Compressor Package, Flare Package, Waste Water Treatment Package, Clarifier, Dosing Skids
- Experience in attending progress review, design review, clarification meeting with Client
- Past experience with QatarEnergy, Shell DEP and Tank Terminal projects are preferred
- MMUP Certification is added advantage

Job Description
- Reporting to the Discipline Team Leader/Manager and Project Manager, the candidate will assume sole responsibility for assigned mechanical engineering work as per project scope.
Skills & Experience
- Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15+ yrs in oil and gas with major contractor or consultants.
- Perform conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering and design as per design basis, project specifications, clients specification and procedures, design codes and standards.
- Familiar with relevant design and analysis software.
- Experienced in performing / preparing the following tasks / deliverables, as per project scope: Mechanical Data Sheet, Equipment Specifications, Material Requisition for Inquiry and Purchase, TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation) and Tabulation, VDR (Vendor Document Review).
- For Packages: Design as per applicable international standards like API 610, API 675, API 618, ISO 5199 ASME Sec. VIII etc.
- Knowledge of Packages like Vapour Recovery Unit, DM Plants, N2 Generation, Truck Loading Arms, Air Compressor Package, Flare Package, Waste Water Treatment Package, Clarifier, Dosing Skids etc.
