About the Role
Worley is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for offshore oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure adherence to engineering practices, support standardization, and manage process design.

Responsibilities
- Ensure team member adherence to engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
- Support standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates
- Prepare and check specifications, data sheets, and perform bid evaluation and vendor document review
- Manage studies and process oriented projects as assigned
- Support Lead Engineer in monitoring quality activities
- Manage process design and design changes within budget and schedule
- Prepare and participate in weekly process discipline meetings and prepare progress reports
- Review and approve all related technical documents and coordinate with Lead Engineer
Requirements
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
- Extensive knowledge of ADNOC VIP / VAP Assurance processes and API Standards (API 520, API 521, API 14C, API 14E)
- Experience in various phases of project life cycle with skills in Feasibility and Conceptual Engineering, field development and adequacy studies
- Experience in processing of highly sour production fluids with extensive offshore engineering experience
- Extensive knowledge of process simulation packages such as HYSYS, PROII, Flarenet
- Experience in pipeline modeling using OLGA, Pipesim, Pipeline Studio, Pipephase, Pipenet is an advantage

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Ensures team member adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
- Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.
- Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence.
- Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.
- Technical supervision of project designated process designers and draftsmen in the execution of their duty.
- Preparation /checking of Specifications, data sheets.
- Performance of bid evaluation and vendor document review and approval.
- Technical writing activities, in particular, production of technical reports and operating manuals.
- Manage studies and process orientated projects as assigned.
- Knows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success.
- Implements innovative solutions, technology advances, and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence.
Job Specific Knowledge
- Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment.
- Extensive knowledge of ADNOC VIP / VAP Assurance processes, API Standards (API 520, API 521, API 14C, API 14E) and statutory and regulatory requirements and a good understanding of onshore and offshore engineering practices applicable to process design for offshore oil and gas facilities.
- Experience in various phases of project life cycle with particular skills in Feasibility and Conceptual Engineering, field development and adequacy studies.
- Experience in processing of highly sour production fluids with extensive offshore engineering experience. Site experience is an advantage and willingness to travel to site and work in an operation support environment is essential.
- Experience of Option Selection Studies, debottlenecking and revamp projects and licensor packages.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of process simulation packages such as HYSYS, PROII, Flarenet.
- HTRI, Experience with dynamic simulation packages will be an advantage.
- Extensive experience in pipeline modeling using OLGA, Pipesim, pipeline studio, Pipephase, Pipenet is an advantage.

Industry Specific Experience
- Experience of process design in onshore/offshore oil & gas industry for Greenfield and Brownfield Projects.
- Experience in Ammonia and Hydrogen Plants and Refinery Processes would be an advantage.
- Experience of Field Development, Option Selection Studies, debottlenecking and revamp projects would be an advantage.
- Extensive Process Simulation for Plant and Pipelines is essential.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
