About the Role
Worley seeks a Senior Process Engineer for oil & gas projects in Doha. You will lead process design, implement innovative solutions, and ensure quality and safety. Requires a Chemical Engineering degree and experience in onshore/offshore brownfield environments.

- Implement innovative solutions, technology advances, and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence
- Support Lead Engineer in monitoring quality activities and take action where required
- Assist Project Team in project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules
- Manage process design and any design changes within budget and schedule
- Prepare and participate in weekly process discipline meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures
- Determine technical issues, define alternate solutions, establish pros/cons for multiple solutions, and make recommendations through official project documents
- Create final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursue customer approval
- Review documentation to assist others and review/authorize work done by direct reports
- Evaluate new technology advancements against existing design standards and revise where applicable
- Identify and review new technology development which could be applicable in providing more cost effective facilities
- Perform discipline specific engineering services such as studies, analyses, detailed designs, drawings, specifications, data, calculations, reports, and procurement/construction/commissioning assistance
Requirements
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
- MME engineering accreditation or willingness to achieve within probation
- Process design experience in onshore/offshore oil & gas industry in brownfield environment with focus on rotating equipment
- FEED and detailed engineering experience
- Experience in an engineering consultancy in a multidiscipline environment
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking same is an advantage

Industry Specific Experience
- Must have process design in onshore/offshore oil & gas industry in a brownfield environment with focus on rotating equipments.
- FEED and detailed engineering experience essential.
- Decent experience in an engineering consultancy in a multidiscipline environment is essential.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage.

- Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.
