Garud is seeking a Senior Policy Analyst to support FEMA by researching, drafting, and evaluating acquisition policy and guidance. This role helps ensure policies are aligned with federal regulations and effectively support FEMA’s acquisition mission.

What You Will Do
Draft policy updates and recommend new or revised policy approaches.
Research and analyze policy issues, impacts, and implementation challenges.
Prepare policy briefs, memos, reports, and related written products.
Review and monitor acquisition policy alignment with regulatory requirements.
Gather and synthesize qualitative and quantitative policy data.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
6–8 years of policy analysis or acquisition policy experience.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Experience with federal and agency policy environments.
Ability to interpret and apply acquisition-related regulations and guidance.
Additional Requirements
Ability to support Congressional, agency, and departmental policy issues.
Experience developing recommendations based on policy research and analysis.
Familiarity with FAR, DHS, and agency-specific acquisition policy.
Ability to produce policy products for internal and external stakeholders.
