- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for roads and bridges using Primavera P6
- Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis to monitor project health
- Identify schedule variances and proactively develop recovery plans or 'what if' scenarios
- Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to verify physical progress
- Prepare high quality reporting packages including WPR, MPR, and S curves
- Analyze Resource Loading and Histograms to identify potential bottlenecks
- Support the Claims & Contract team by providing detailed delay analysis when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- 10+ years of experience in large scale infrastructure projects (bridges, underpasses, overpasses, highways)
- Minimum 5+ years specifically as a Senior Planning Engineer
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is highly preferred
- Excellent command of English (written & spoken)
- Expert proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 (Advanced level), MS Project, and Excel (Advanced reporting/dashboards)

Project Overview

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for roads and bridges, utilizing Primavera P6 to create baseline schedules ensuring all activities, logic ties, and critical paths are accurately represented.
- Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis to monitor project health, focusing on Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI).
- Identify schedule variances and proactively develop recovery plans or 'what if' scenarios to mitigate delays in complex infrastructure work fronts.
- Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to verify physical progress, ensuring the P6 schedule reflects the reality of on site execution.
- Prepare high quality reporting packages, including Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), and S curves for internal management and stakeholder review.
- Analyze Resource Loading and Histograms to identify potential bottlenecks in labor or equipment allocation across multiple project zones.
- Support the Claims & Contract team by providing detailed delay analysis when required.
Qualifications & Education
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Total Experience: 10+ years of experience in large scale infrastructure projects (bridges, underpasses, overpasses, highways).
- Specific Role Experience: Minimum 5+ years specifically as a Senior Planning Engineer.
- Regional Experience: Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is highly preferred.
- Languages: Excellent command of English (written & spoken). Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Software: Expert proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 (Advanced level), MS Project, and Excel (Advanced reporting/dashboards).
- Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, detail oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
