Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all planning and scheduling functions across major construction projects.
- Provide strategic planning advice and executive reporting to Project Directors, senior management, and clients.
- Lead and mentor the project planning team, ensuring alignment with project delivery objectives.
- Direct the preparation of EOT claims, delay analysis, and schedule recovery plans.
- Approve baseline, mitigation, and revised project schedules.
- Oversee the preparation of resource plans, KPIs, and project cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure subcontractor schedules are fully integrated with the master construction program.
- Support project close-out activities including final completion and lessons-learned documentation.
Requirements
- 12–15+ years of experience in planning for large building and high-rise construction projects.
- Significant experience in a senior planning role with a main contractor.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- In-depth understanding of construction contracts, delay analysis, and claims management.
- Expert proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
- Advanced knowledge of construction planning methodologies and Critical Path Method (CPM).
