- This role is critical in ensuring material compliance, approvals, and timely coordination to support successful project delivery.
- 🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Review and manage material submittals in line with project specifications and contract requirements
- Ensure compliance with IFC drawings, specifications, and approved standards
- Coordinate with consultants/PMC for material approvals and closure of technical comments
- Maintain and update material submittal logs and tracking systems
- Liaise with procurement and site teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance of materials
- Verify technical data sheets, test reports, certifications, and samples prior to submission
- Monitor approved materials to ensure proper implementation on site
- Support in resolving material-related technical issues and NCRs
- Ensure compliance with authority requirements (e.g., ADCD, local regulations)
- 🔹 Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or related discipline
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in construction/material engineering
- Strong knowledge of material submittals, QA/QC procedures, and project specifications
- Proven experience in handling consultant/PMC approvals and coordination
- Familiarity with platforms such as Asite, ACC, or similar systems
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Experience in large-scale projects
- Knowledge of authority approval processes (ADCD, ADM, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple material packages (Architectural, Civil, MEP)
