About the Role
Emirates Engineering seeks a Senior Planning Assistant to support production planning for aircraft maintenance and overhaul workshops. The role involves coordinating work packages, materials, and tools to ensure efficient maintenance operations.

Responsibilities
- Support delivery of Production Planning activities for Aircraft Maintenance, ensuring service meets agreed SLA
- Follow processes in all planning and control phases of maintenance input, including workpack production and closure
- Support delivery of Production Planning activities for Overhaul Workshops, ensuring service meets agreed SLA
- Ensure planning process delivers SSS/Task 2 parts to Aircraft Maintenance per agreed timelines
- Liaise with Good Inwards for resolution of SDRs and coordinate with Binning Team for disposal of hazardous materials
- Support assigned sections by ensuring all work is carried out diligently and accurately, meeting SLAs
- Participate in projects and planning activities to continuously improve department product
- Support delivery of PPC function within Budget, maintaining cost conscious mindset
- Work with 145 production teams to reduce cost of maintenance across Labour, Materials & other costs
- Support Safety and Compliance of PPC teams deliverables, ensuring adherence to EPMs and Work Instructions
Requirements
- 12 years schooling or equivalent
- Good understanding of aircraft documentation and records including AMM, IPC, CMMs, Work Packages and Maintenance Schedules
- Engineering experience in Production Planning, Aircraft Maintenance, Workshops, Maintenance Planning, Technical Records or a related environment
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of ULTRAMAIN is an advantage

Job Purpose
- The Production Planning department at Emirates Engineering plays a pivotal role in getting all required maintenance done efficiently.
- To accomplish core functional planning tasks within the production planning & control group, including Aircraft Maintenance & Workshops.
In This Role, You Will
- Support delivery of Production Planning activities for Aircraft Maintenance working with PPEs & PPOs.
- Follow processes in all planning and control phases of the maintenance input, including workpack production and closure.
- Support delivery of Production Planning activities for Overhaul Workshops.
- Ensure planning process delivers SSS/Task 2 parts to Aircraft Maintenance per agreed timelines.
- Support delivery of Production Planning activities for Overhaul Workshops including creation of Work orders, coordinating materials/tools.
- Liaise with Good Inwards for resolution of SDRs; coordinate with Binning Team for disposal of hazardous materials.
- Support assigned sections by ensuring all work is carried out diligently, accurately and in good time.
- Participate and contribute to projects and planning activities that continuously improve the product.
- Support delivery of PPC function within Budget, ensuring cost conscious mindset.
- Work with 145 production teams to reduce cost of maintenance across Labour, Materials & other costs.
- Support Safety and Compliance of PPC teams deliverables.
- Engage in Performance Management process and achieve 100% of planned Objectives and Development Plans.
To Be Considered For This Role, You Will Need
- 12 Years schooling or equivalent.
- Good understanding of Aircraft documentation and records including AMM, IPC, CMMs, Work Packages and Maintenance Schedules.
- Engineering experience in Production Planning, Aircraft Maintenance, Workshops, Maintenance Planning, Technical Records or a related environment.
