About the Role
Emirates Engineering seeks a Senior Planning Assistant to support production planning for aircraft maintenance and overhaul workshops. Requires 12 years schooling, engineering experience in production planning or related environment, and knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of Production Planning activities for Aircraft Maintenance working with the PPEs & PPOs, to ensure the service is meeting agreed SLA
- Follow processes in all planning and control phases of the maintenance input, including workpack production and workpack closure and control
- Support the delivery of Production Planning activities for Overhaul Workshops, working with the shop PPEs & PPOs, to ensure the service meets agreed SLA
- Ensure the planning process is delivering SSS/Task 2 parts to Aircraft Maintenance per agreed timelines
- Support the delivery of Production Planning activities for Overhaul Workshops including creation of Work orders, coordinating for materials/tools requirements, control and monitoring of incoming US Items
- Liaise with Good Inwards for resolution of SDRs and coordinate with Binning Team for disposal of hazardous materials
- Support assigned section/areas by ensuring all work is carried out diligently, accurately and in good time, meeting all SLAs
- Participate and contribute to projects and planning activities that continuously improve the product delivered by the department
- Support the delivery of the PPC function within Budget, ensuring a cost conscious mind set
- Support the Safety and Compliance of the PPC teams deliverables, ensuring adherence with EPMs and Work Instructions
Requirements
- 12 Years schooling or equivalent
- Good understanding of Aircraft documentation and records including AMM, IPC, CMMs, Work Packages and Maintenance Schedules
- Engineering experience in Production Planning, Aircraft Maintenance, Workshops, Maintenance Planning, Technical Records or a related environment
- Knowledge of MS Office applications i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of ULTRAMAIN is an advantage

Job Purpose
- The Production Planning department at Emirates Engineering plays a pivotal role in getting all the required maintenance done in the most efficient manner.
- To accomplish core functional planning tasks, within the production planning & control group, including Aircraft Maintenance & Workshops.
- To assist the team to ensure accomplishment of all planned and non routine activities on time, in budget and to the quality and safety standards expected.
In this role, you will:
- Support the delivery of Production Planning activities for Aircraft Maintenance working with the PPEs & PPOs, to ensure the service is meeting agreed SLA.
- Follow processes in all planning and control phases of the maintenance input, including workpack production and workpack closure and control.
- Support the delivery of Production Planning activities for Overhaul Workshops, working with the shop PPEs & PPOs, to ensure the service meets agreed SLA.
- Ensure the planning process is delivering SSS/Task 2 parts to Aircraft Maintenance per agreed timelines though appropriate planning in the shop.
- Support the delivery of Production Planning activities for Overhaul Workshops, not limited to, but including: Creation of Work orders, Coordinating with MS/SDG/GSE/Facility for materials / tools requirement for maintenance tasks, Control and monitoring of incoming US Items and items awaiting for Par
- Liaise with Good Inwards for resolution of SDRs. Coordinate with Binning Team, thru SDG for disposal of hazardous materials.
- Support assigned section/areas, by ensuring that all work assigned is carried out diligently, accurately and in good time, ensuring that all SLAs are met by the section.
- Participate and contribute to projects and planning activities that continuously improve the product delivered by the department.
- Support the delivery of the PPC function within Budget, ensuring you have a cost conscious mind set.
- Under the direction of the PPE/PPO, work with 145 production teams to reduce the cost of maintenance across all categories; Labour, Materials & other costs.
- Support the Safety and Compliance of the PPC teams deliverables, ensuring adherence with EPM's and Work Instructions.
- Engage in the Performance Management process and ensure you are actively engaged in achieving 100% of the planned Objectives and Development Plans.
Qualification
- 12 Years schooling or equivalent
