Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Executive specializing in technical stores supplies.
The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of relevant industry experience and strong operational knowledge in handling vessel supply requirements efficiently across ports.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations related to technical stores supplies.
- Coordinate procurement, logistics, and timely delivery of marine and technical consumables to vessels.
- Liaise with vessel captains, ship agents, suppliers, and warehouse teams for smooth operational execution.
- Prepare quotations, process purchase orders, and monitor order fulfillment.
- Ensure timely vessel deliveries in line with port schedules and operational requirements.
- Coordinate inventory and monitor stock levels for technical stores items.
- Handle operational documentation, invoicing, and delivery confirmations.
- Maintain compliance with marine industry standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.
- Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Prepare operational reports and support management in performance monitoring.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in ship chandlery operations with focus on technical stores supplies.
- Strong knowledge of marine technical consumables, safety equipment, tools, and vessel supply operations.
- Familiarity with port operations and marine logistics.
- Ability to handle urgent vessel requirements and work under pressure.
- Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and operational/ERP systems.
- driving license will be an added advantage.
