Senior Network Engineer

Position Summary

Work Arrangement

• Work mode: Onsite.
• Location: Saudi Arabia.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are required.
• Candidates should currently be based in Saudi Arabia.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15+ years of IT infrastructure and network operations experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in leadership or managerial roles managing large infrastructure teams.
• Enterprise-scale, mission-critical, managed services, or large enterprise customer experience is required.
• Arabic and English language proficiency are mandatory.

Infrastructure Operations

• Lead operations for Azure and on-premises data center infrastructure.
• Lead LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN network infrastructure operations.
• Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, incident management, and capacity planning.

Service Delivery and Security

• Maintain service levels aligned with business requirements and achieve SLA, OLA, KPI, and uptime targets.
• Lead major incidents, service restoration, ITIL processes, governance, and service improvement.
• Maintain security controls, access management, infrastructure hardening, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Leadership and Stakeholders

• Act as the interface between business stakeholders, customers, infrastructure teams, and senior leadership.
• Present operational reviews, service reports, and improvement plans and manage escalations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams through workforce planning, coaching, and performance management.

AI, Automation, and Transformation

• Drive AI, generative AI, agentic AI, AIOps, predictive operations, and self-healing capabilities.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead modernization, cloud migration, hybrid infrastructure transformation, observability, and reliability initiatives.

Vendor and Financial Management

• Manage vendors, service providers, support partners, infrastructure assets, and service contracts.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.

Technical Skills

• Cisco, Huawei, and Fortinet campus, data center, security, and network technologies.
• LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, network design, deployment, and operations.
• Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud, on-premises data centers, monitoring, and capacity management.
• Firewalls, access control, network segmentation, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• ITIL, incident, problem, and change management, SLA/KPI governance, and service delivery.
• Infrastructure automation, AIOps, generative AI, agentic AI, predictive analytics, and self-healing infrastructure.
