Role overview
The role supports and administers enterprise cloud platforms hosted on Microsoft Azure.
It is primarily a cloud administration and operations role focused on an existing platform rather than new platform design.
The role covers Terraform support, GitHub Enterprise Server administration, CI/CD, networking, identity, monitoring, and releases.
Cloud platform operations
- Administer Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, identity, RBAC, policies, Key Vault, monitoring, and cost controls.
- Support the Citadel Platform and AI Application Landing Zones.
- Troubleshoot dependencies across Azure, GCP, and on-premise environments.
Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Maintain Terraform modules, providers, variables, state, backends, and workspaces.
- Operate plan and apply workflows and perform infrastructure drift detection and remediation.
- Ensure infrastructure and configuration changes are version-controlled and deployed through approved CI/CD processes.
CI/CD and release operations
- Operate GitHub Enterprise Server workflows and self-hosted runners.
- Support Azure DevOps integration where applicable.
- Execute controlled releases, deployment verification, and rollback procedures.
Monitoring and incident support
- Monitor platform health, availability, capacity, security alerts, and integration failures.
- Support incident triage, root-cause-analysis inputs, and recurring problem tracking.
Documentation and knowledge transfer
- Maintain operational runbooks, deployment checklists, configuration inventories, and handover documentation.
- Conduct knowledge transfer.
Required experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure administration and operations experience.
