Role Overview
The role serves as a strategic advisor and technical expert supporting client initiatives within the NPHIES ecosystem.
The consultant works across technical, business, and delivery teams to implement, integrate, and optimize healthcare solutions aligned with NPHIES standards and regulations.
The role requires healthcare interoperability expertise, business acumen, and technical expertise, including knowledge of Revenue Cycle and Payors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on FHIR standards, HL7 protocols, and healthcare interoperability.
- Advise on integrating NPHIES requirements into existing healthcare systems.
- Monitor Saudi regulatory updates and digital health trends.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand strategic goals, operational challenges, and technical requirements.
- Conduct gap analyses and recommend tailored solutions for interoperability, data exchange, and financial workflows.
- Design and review system architectures supporting FHIR-based exchange and NPHIES compliance.
- Recommend integration strategies for HIS, HIE, payer systems, and provider platforms.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, particularly FHIR.
- Knowledge of HL7 protocols and healthcare interoperability practices.
- Knowledge of the Saudi healthcare landscape, including payer-provider systems and financial health services.
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle and Payors.
- Ability to align healthcare solutions with NPHIES standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to combine business acumen with solid technical expertise.
- 8–15 years of experience, as stated in the source listing metadata.
