Overview
We are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join our team, specializing in MEP and data center projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review project program schedules, weekly and monthly reports, KPIs, manpower histograms, and plant histograms.
- Effectively communicate with the Head Office team about design, engineering, and procurement items. Develop and maintain different tracker schedules.
- Communicate effectively with the project team to identify day-to-day planning/schedule issues, concerns, critical items/areas, delays, and take effective steps/actions.
- Capable of effectively communicating project requirements with clients, consultants, and engineers to achieve solutions quickly.
- Subcontractor Management – including the process of tender, procurement, mobilization, program/schedule, reports, meetings, recovery, and closeout.
- Suggest management of risks affecting project schedules and interfaces.
- Develop, submit, and maintain delay notices, interim claims, final claims for successful closeout.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in large-scale commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
- Experience in data centers is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of authority requirements and procedures.
- Good knowledge and experience in delay analysis techniques and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using Primavera and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with engineering and construction tools.
