About the Role
AECOM is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join their team in Doha, Qatar. The role involves overseeing planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across complex construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all MEP related activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans while monitoring progress against established timelines and financial targets
- Lead and supervise MEP teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff, fostering a collaborative and safety conscious work environment
- Conduct detailed analysis of MEP designs and specifications to identify potential conflicts, inefficiencies, or cost saving opportunities
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure MEP systems align with overall project requirements and building codes
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, quality assurance procedures, and compliance standards across all MEP operations
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, performance metrics, and project documentation to senior management and clients
- Manage procurement processes for MEP materials and equipment, ensuring cost effectiveness and adherence to project specifications
- Utilize BIM software and project management tools to enhance coordination, visualization, and decision making
- Resolve technical issues and conflicts that arise during construction, implementing timely and effective solutions
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in MEP project management or MEP coordination
- At least 10 years of experience in Airport projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, fire protection, and building automation
- Proven expertise in project scheduling, budget management, and cost control methodologies
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software platforms
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross functional teams and multiple stakeholders
- In depth understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards applicable to MEP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred
- Experience working on projects in the Middle East or similar regions is preferred

Job Description

Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in MEP project management or MEP coordination with atleast 10 years of experience in Airport projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, fire protection, and building automation
- Proven expertise in project scheduling, budget management, and cost control methodologies
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software platforms
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross functional teams and multiple stakeholders
- In depth understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards applicable to MEP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make decisive decisions under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience working on projects in the Middle East or similar regions is preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred
- Familiarity with MEP coordination software and clash detection tools is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software platforms
