Responsibilities
- Lead design of domestic water supply, drainage, sewage, storm water, and irrigation systems
- Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and equipment selection
- Design firefighting systems including sprinkler systems, standpipes, fire hose reels, and fire pumps
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), NFPA, and local authority regulations
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
- Provide technical support during construction phase and conduct site inspections
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10–12 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design
- Experience with hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and local regulations
