Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design development from concept to detailed design stage
- Ensure all designs align with project brief, client requirements, and budget constraints
- Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and material selections
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions
- Manage design interfaces between consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Resolve design conflicts and technical issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local authority requirements
- Liaise with authorities for design approvals and submissions
- Provide technical support during the construction phase
- Review shop drawings, material submittal, and RFIs
- Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation is accurate
- Maintain high standards of design quality and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Master's preferred)
- UPDA/MMUP Certification (Grade A or B preferred)
- 10 12 years of experience in architectural design within construction projects
- Strong experience in design consultancy or contractor design teams
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of local regulations in Qatar

Purpose of the Role
- To lead and manage architectural design activities across construction projects, ensuring high quality, compliant, and coordinated design deliverables aligned with project requirements, local regulations, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements
