- Participate in project meetings and provide expert input on material related matters
- Ensure compliance with Ashghal requirements and regulations throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Material Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in material engineering, with a strong background in infrastructure projects
- Professional registration or certification in Material Engineering is highly advantageous
- Proven experience in managing and overseeing material engineering activities for large scale projects
- Excellent knowledge of material testing and inspection techniques, and industry standards
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel and work on site as required
- Must hold a valid MMUP/UPDA registration (Engineer Classification) in Qatar

Position Overview
- The Senior Material Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting Ashghal projects, working within the GEC Supervision department. This position involves managing and overseeing material engineering activities, with a focus on maintaining high standards and adhering to project requirements.
