Job Purpose

  • Responsible for executing the marketing strategy for an online news and digital solutions platform for the energy industry.
  • Will report, test, coordinate relations among internal stakeholders, communicate with suppliers, manage media partnerships, coordinate website content, and assist in developing effective marketing strategies and campaign plans.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate partnerships internally alongside marketing managers and event marketing teams.
  • Keep track of media campaigns and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
  • Assist the marketing manager with handling social media platforms.
  • Prepare briefing for design and website developer for changes and executions of campaigns.
  • Coordinate and work closely with design and event marketing teams to create branding and advertising materials.
  • Work closely with content, sales and event marketing teams to create and copy write targeted partnership materials.
  • Work closely with marketing manager to ensure campaigns drive higher traffic to the website.
  • Plan, manage and execute multi channel marketing campaigns across social, print, web, digital and email.
  • Track and analyse partnership marketing activities to ensure effective results.
  • Ensure deliverables to partners are executed and partners receive relevant exposure.
  • Contribute to all aspects of marketing activity, ensuring best practice and clear promotional message.
  • Create and issue promotional electronic newsletters (HTML & Text); become expert in effective email campaigns.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience in the use of databases in both mass and targeted direct marketing campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Social media and digital channels savvy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Great multi tasker with ability to meet deadlines and handle different campaigns simultaneously.
  • Copy writing skills and excellent verbal and written English.
  • HTML proficient.
  • Experience with Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar database systems; Canva (advantage).
