A global biopharmaceutical company seeks a Senior Market Access Manager for the UAE market.
The role combines strategic ownership and operational responsibility for payer engagement, reimbursement, pricing, and launch readiness.
The position covers a specialty portfolio across multiple therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute UAE access strategy across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Build relationships with payers, health authorities, and stakeholders.
- Lead reimbursement and formulary listing processes.
- Develop localized value propositions using HTA models, real-world evidence, and payer evidence.
- Shape pricing and contracting strategies, including managed-entry schemes.
- Support launch readiness through payer engagement and evidence planning.
- Monitor market and regulatory trends and provide strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent field.
- At least seven years of pharmaceutical experience in Gulf markets, including at least two years in market access.
- Strong knowledge of UAE pricing, reimbursement, and the healthcare ecosystem.
- Experience with payer engagement, reimbursement submissions, and access negotiations.
- Competence in health economics, HTA modelling, and public health.
- Strategic thinking and operational execution with minimal guidance.
- Multiple therapeutic area experience is advantageous.
- A master's degree or PhD is desirable.
