Senior Manager – Vehicle Operations(Autonomous Vehicle)

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead vehicle operations teams comprising remote monitoring operators, field support personnel, and shift supervisors.
• Own workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, certification, retention, and supplier relationships.
• Manage productivity, attendance, utilization, performance metrics, training programs, certification standards, and quality assurance.
• Build supervisory structures and oversee rostering, manpower allocation, compliance, and multi-shift coverage.
• Ensure labor, visa, accommodation, transportation, and workforce welfare compliance.
• Drive KPI improvement, cross-functional scaling, process optimization, coaching, succession planning, and engagement.
• Maintain operational readiness and respond to disruptions, incidents, and changing business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.

Experience requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operations, workforce management, logistics, mobility, command centers, contact centers, dispatch, or similar large-scale environments.
• Experience managing several hundred frontline employees through multiple supervisory layers.
• Success scaling operations, mobilizing large teams, or launching operational sites or projects.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, training, rostering, performance management, and retention.
• Experience in real-time operational environments, including command centers, dispatch, control rooms, or autonomous vehicle operations.
• Experience designing training, certification, quality assurance, and performance management frameworks.
• Hands-on experience managing 24/7 multi-shift operations.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with autonomous vehicle safety operators or autonomous mobility operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE workforce regulations, MOHRE requirements, visa processing, accommodation, and manpower supplier management is preferred.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, delivery services, or mobility technology is preferred.
• Knowledge of workforce management systems, scheduling platforms, and operational analytics tools is preferred.
• Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic communication skills are an advantage.
