Summary

  • The Senior Manager, Social Media Analytics leads the social analytics function, overseeing the performance measurement of all social media activities and delivering strategic insights that drive engagement, brand equity, and business impact.
  • This role combines deep analytical expertise with a strong understanding of social trends, platform algorithms, and organic social content performance.
  • You will manage a team of analysts and collaborate cross functionally with Social Strategy, Paid Media, Creative, Influencer, and Brand Marketing teams to influence decision making and shape content strategy through data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the social analytics roadmap.
  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of data driven decision making.
  • Act as the primary analytics partner to senior leadership across Social, Brand, and Paid Media.
  • Analyze organic social content performance and identify what worked, why it worked, and what should happen next.
  • Oversee the creation of dashboards and reports that consolidate data from multiple social media platforms and tools.
  • Deliver recurring (weekly, monthly, campaign based) performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Translate data into strategic recommendations that influence content, media, and brand decisions.
  • Lead social listening efforts using tools like Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, or Brandwatch.
  • Identify emerging trends, competitive shifts, and cultural moments that inform brand activation.
  • Conduct benchmark analysis against competitors and industry leaders.
  • Measure the performance of launches, always on content, creator content, UGC, and trend led activity.
  • Define success metrics in partnership with social and paid teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Proven track record leading social analytics functions, translating complex data into actionable strategy, with 8+ years in social media analytics and at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience analysing organic social media performance across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency in analytics and reporting platforms including Sprinklr and Power BI.
  • Experience using social media reporting, analytics, or listening tools such as Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Emplifi, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of social KPIs including reach, impressions, views, watch time, retention, saves, shares, engagement rate, follower growth, sentiment, and share of voice.
  • Advanced Excel and data visualization skills.
  • Proven ability to turn social performance data into practical content and creative recommendations.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience working in a fast paced, cross functional environment.
