PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

  • The Senior Manager – SME Acquisition & Sales Enablement will be responsible for driving end to end SME customer acquisition across all sales and servicing channels including Branch Banking, Relationship Managers (RMs), Digital Channels, Contact Centre, Partnerships, and Field Sales.
  • The role will own the SME acquisition strategy, lead generation programs, awareness campaigns, sales activation initiatives, conversion optimization, and performance governance to accelerate SME customer acquisition, product penetration, and portfolio growth.
  • The individual will serve as the central coordinator across business, marketing, digital, analytics, product, operations, and sales teams to ensure a consistent and scalable acquisition engine that delivers sustained growth.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • SME Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute the bank's SME acquisition strategy aligned to business growth objectives. Define annual and quarterly acquisition targets across channels. Identify priority customer segments, industries, and geographic markets. Develop channel specific acquisition plan
  • Lead Generation & Demand Creation: Design and manage lead generation programs across digital and physical channels. Build acquisition funnels leveraging Branch network, Relationship Managers, Digital Banking, Website and Landing Pages, social media, Contact Centre, Third Party Partnerships, Referral
  • Awareness Campaigns & Market Activation: Develop and execute SME awareness campaigns to increase product visibility and market penetration. Partner with Marketing to launch Digital acquisition campaigns, MCC specific campaigns, SME events and roadshows, Content marketing initiatives, Email and CRM c
  • Sales Enablement & Channel Activation: Develop acquisition playbooks for branches and RM teams. Conduct regular training and capability building sessions for sales channels.   • Partnerships & Ecosystem Development: Identify and develop partnerships with SME ecosystem players, fintechs, chambers of commerce, business associations, and digital platforms. Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of banking experience in SME Banking, Retail Banking, Sales, Acquisition, Marketing, or Business Development.
  • Proven experience driving SME customer acquisition programs.
  • Strong experience managing multi channel acquisition strategies.
  • Hands on experience with CRM, lead management, campaign execution, and sales performance management.
  • Experience working with digital acquisition and performance marketing teams.
  • GCC banking experience, preferably in KSA, is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with SME Banking, Business Banking, Merchant Acquiring, Lending, or Payment's products is an advantage.

Mandatory Skills

  • Previous experience within Banking, Digital Payment & Card solutions, or the FinTech industry.
  • Regional experience, including working in a fast paced matrix organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written, verbal, and presentation); Arabic preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • The ability to analyse data, troubleshoot payment issues, optimize processes, and make data driven decisions.
  • Good understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, system workflows, security basics, and industry technologies.
  • An understanding of regional regulations across financial services or payment networks.
