EDGE Commercial is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Business Development.
The role drives business growth, strategic opportunities, and customer relationships across regional and international markets.
The position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies and plans.
- Identify and qualify new markets, customers, and opportunities.
- Lead opportunity shaping, capture strategies, and customer engagement.
- Build relationships with senior government, defence, security, and industry stakeholders.
- Support strategic partnerships, market expansion, proposals, and negotiations.
- Maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and provide market intelligence.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Sales, Commercial, or Programme Management.
- Knowledge or experience in selected advanced technology and product areas, such as C5ISR, sensing and intelligence, AI, autonomy, missiles, weapons, or tactical systems.
- Knowledge of one or more EDGE clusters or similar systems.
- Experience in the defense sector.
- Proven experience in defence, aerospace, advanced technology, security, or related sectors.
- Experience across one or more relevant EDGE capabilities.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and opportunity-capture skills.
