Responsibilities
- Manage a suite of regional APN Partnerships taking end to end ownership of the relationship
- Conduct regular services reviews, monitor and revise SLAs, track performance against KPIs and OKRs
- Ensure APN Partner performance meets WU standards; escalate and track issues to resolution
- Proactively discuss business development opportunities, identifying growth or revenue opportunities
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships with pay out partners, correspondent banks, and payment networks
- Stay abreast of global payment market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, product, and technology teams to deliver changes and close gaps
- Review contractual agreements with Legal and Compliance teams for regulatory adherence
Requirements
- 7 10 years of partnership management experience in financial services (preferably payments)
- 5+ years of team management experience
- Experience in strategic and tactical partner management; working knowledge of payment industry participants
- Strong management skills including project planning, coordination, organization, adaptability, and execution
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Proven problem solving abilities and robust technological background
- Undergraduate or graduate degree, or equivalent experience

Overview
- Western Union is seeking an experienced Network Manager in Dubai to join the new Network (APN) Management Team.
- This role manages a suite of Global Payment Partners forming part of Western Union’s Account Payment Network (APN) – banks, wallets, and card providers, with a focus on MEPA regional payment partners.
- The individual will execute on the APN governance strategy and identify partnership and collaboration opportunities.
